Trans Canada Trail is thrilled to be hosting the World Trails Conference. This marks the first time ever this event will be hosted in North America.
The conference is poised to be an unparalleled gathering of outdoor enthusiasts, experts and advocates from around the world. In addition to thought-provoking presentations, the conference will feature diverse activities, trail journeys, workshops and a celebratory gala. Delegates will have the opportunity to delve into topics like climate resilience, sustainable tourism, economic development and trail accessibility.
More than 80 speakers will engage in this year’s conference theme, “Connection to people, places and the planet.” Keynote speakers include Dianne Whelan, Harvey Locke and Carol Ritchie. We are expecting decision-maker attendees from leading trail organisations from around the world including Parks Canada, Bruce Trail Conservancy, National Trails UK, Appalachian Trail Conservancy and many more.
