Erica is a strategist and research-driven advisor with 12 years’ experience supporting government, business, and non-profits. Before joining Destination Canada, Erica was a tourism consultant skilled at providing research, strategic analysis, and communications support designed to inform destination development, market planning and product development. During this time, Erica supported and worked with over 30 organizations around the globe in North America, Asia & the Pacific, and the Middle East. She brings extensive knowledge of sustainable and regenerative practices, strategic partnerships, and innovation in tourism. Erica’s experience also includes work in government where she enabled more competitive and high-quality tourism in Ontario.

Market Intelligence Analyst, Destination Development at Destination Canada
James is a systems thinker and analyst. He supports Destination Canada’s destination development program by providing research and data with a focus on the applications of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to the tourism sector. Prior to joining Destination Canada, James provided insights to local government and businesses on the impacts of the pandemic and progress towards economic recovery.
