The Revenue Analyst provides support to the Revenue Management process and aids in the development of long-term revenue and yield strategies. This position maximizes resort revenues on a daily basis through trend analysis and brand standard pricing/yielding strategies.

Primary Duties

• Willingness to accept the most effective role.
• Provide analytical support and relevant data for ad hoc reporting analysis
• Work with resort Sales Team to evaluate group blocks, close/open sales allotments and group accommodation rates.
• Assumes a primary revenue role in the absence of the Revenue Manager
• Manage PMS (Property Management System) through the building of rates, packages, promotions. To become the most proficient user in both PMS (OPERA) & ORS (Opera Reservation System) To become a proficient user of Duetto, our RMS (Revenue Management System) including but not limited to: reporting, revenue strategies, and rate building
• Assist Revenue Manager as required/directed on revenue related analysis, pricing, forecasts, budgets and yield management
• Become a proficient user of Data Vision (Database Reporting Tool) in building/updating reports, rate production, and other reporting as required
• To be able to model and communicate promotions-from the building of rate/promo codes, channel conversions, rate and promotional spreadsheets, package arrangements, to all pertinent parties
• To ensure all work is completed in an accurate, efficient and timely manner with the utmost of confidentiality
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; Protect operation by keeping financial information confidential
• Close with an open mentality
• Keep areas in like-new condition, website ready standards.
• Ensures guests are greeted and acknowledged consistently; adhering to the 10/5 Rule.
• Communicates with guests in a professional and friendly manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in Hospitality in a Revenue role is considered an asset
• Proficiency in PMS, RMS, Channel Manager and DB Reporting Software with Opera, Duetto, Synxis/Sabre and DataVision considered an advantage
• Strong administrative skills including a command of all MS Office products, with an emphasis on Excel
• Demonstrates an above average attention to detail including excellent written and oral communication skills
• Applicant is required to have above average math and computer skills
