TIAO propels the powerful and innovative Ontario tourism industry by connecting tourism leaders, innovators, government, and educators through events and conferences. We are proud to host the largest gathering of tourism leaders, businesses, and government officials in Canada, at our annual Ontario Tourism Summit.
We advocate on behalf of the tourism industry to the government.
TIAO is the umbrella government advocacy organization for Ontario's diverse tourism industry. We facilitate dialogue between government and industry to highlight tourism's economic value and provide evidence-based policy recommendations to ensure the provincial government addresses the sector's needs.
We represent & provide resources for our members.
TIAO works proactively with stakeholders to resolve policy issues facing Ontario's tourism industry. We represent the Regional Tourism Organizations, Destination Marketing Organizations, Sector Associations, Operators, Suppliers and Post-Secondary Educators in Ontario.
