Position Overview
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, organized, and people-focused General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a growing customer-focused business. This role is responsible for overseeing operations, driving exceptional customer experiences, supporting team development, and ensuring the organization operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to operational teams.

- Work closely with ownership or senior leadership on strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and health and safety requirements.

- Monitor budgets, operational performance, and key business metrics.
Seasonal On-Site Requirement
This position follows a seasonal hybrid schedule.
During the organization's peak operating season, the General Manager is expected to work primarily on-site to provide hands-on leadership and operational oversight. During the off-season, the role transitions to a hybrid or remote arrangement focused on planning, administration, recruitment, budgeting, training, and preparation for the upcoming operating season.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of management experience in hospitality, tourism, retail, recreation, service, or another operationally focused industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, workforce planning, and operational management.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional, customer-focused, and team-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with common business software and scheduling systems.
