Artist Talk by Tim Laurin - "The Bay, a Family Archive"

Join us for an Artist Talk with Tim Laurin on Saturday, August 15 at 2:00 PM in the MCC Gallery of Indigenous Art. Currently on display, The Bay: A Family Archive explores memory, identity, family history, and the enduring connection to Georgian Bay through photography-based printmaking and storytelling. During this guided gallery discussion, Tim will share the inspiration behind the exhibition, discuss how family archives have shaped the work, and highlight selected pieces while exploring their symbolism, narratives, and creative process. Guests are encouraged to ask questions and participate in the conversation throughout the talk. Registration is free and all are welcome.
